Mark Brodsky, Board Member
Mark is the owner of JMD eServices, a Toronto-based company that helps other companies grow their business using email and social media. He's been active in the OGLCC since December of 2008 and is currently a member of the Programs and Events Committee. Prior starting his business in January 2008, Mark's professional journey has taken him from the School of Journalism at Humber and TV Guide Canada to Lula Lounge and Xtra. He has a certificate in Bakery Arts from George Brown as well as a diploma from the Ontario School of Bartending.
Lisa Chang, Board Member
Lisa Chang is the president of Yenius Interactive Marketing an internet marketing company. The most prominent of the brands includes inTouch Broadcast, a Canadian vetted email marketing service which supports Habitat for Humanity Toronto with 10% of its ongoing delivery services fees. Lisa is active in the community and has served previously on the boards of not for profits as well as charitable organizations including the Women 4 Montreal, Rotary Club of Richmond Hill (President), Big Sisters of York Region (board member). These days her involvement with the Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto, as a Hockey Canada referee, and the Pink Turf Soccer League keep her busy and happily connected with the people in the community.
Bryn Hendricks, Board Member
Born and raised in Vancouver, Bryn graduated in Small Business Development from the British Columbia Institute of Technology before relocating to Toronto in 2000. A few years later, Bryn served as Director of Tourism and Economic Development for OGLCC, focusing on developing the relationship between the Chamber and government tourism organizations. In 2005, Bryn relocated to Ottawa to work for the Liberals in the House of Commons, and after three years of working for Honourable Bill Graham, Leader of the Official Opposition and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defense, as well as a number of Members of Parliament, Bryn has relocated back to Toronto and currently works in Marketing and Public Relations for the Delta Chelsea Hotel in Toronto.
Steve Ireson, Board Member
John Kenyon, President
John is the Sales Manager for 103.9 PROUD FM, the world’s first commercially licensed LGBT radio station. With a sales staff of 8 and growing, they have increased sales dramatically during the recent recession. John has also been the president of the OGLCC for 4 years now and has seen and helped implement many changes. He looks forward to two more years on the board and many of the new challenges and opportunities facing the organization.
Lynette Latinsky, Treasurer
Lynette Latinsky is a Senior Insurance Advisor and has served as the OGLCC’s Treasurer for several years. As a professional, full-time, licensed, independent, life and living benefits consultant, Lynette provides personalized strategies for insurance protection. She works with clients to help them become informed consumers who are able to properly protect their family, life and their business. She holds both a Level Two Life Insurance License and a Mutual Fund License. She is a member in good standing of Advocis and a member of the Independent Financial Brokers of Canada.
Larry Leung, Secretary
Larry Leung is a Manager, IT Applications Audit, at TD Bank Financial Group. He is also a career coach and is passionate in assisting individuals and businesses achieve success. Outside of work, he has been actively participating in volunteering activities by serving as the Treasurer for the Toronto Chapter of ISACA and organizing group activities at the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank. He is the co-chair of the OGLCC Programs and Events Committee.
Ariel Magil, Vice President
Ariel works as a Financial Planner for TD Waterhouse, based at the TD Canada Trust at Church and Wellesley. He has been actively involved in supporting the arts, as well as gay advocacy, both in Toronto and his hometown of Vancouver.
Denis Schryburt, Board Member
While working in communications for the last 20 years, Denis Schryburt has also been quite active politically in and out of the LGBTTQ community. With a passion for volunteerism and for making a difference, Denis serves on many other boards such as Pink Triangle Services (Director), TotoToo Theatre (Co-founder), Centretown Citizens’ Community Association (Vice President) and is a fundraiser for the right cause. Denis est un Franco-Ontarien bilingue.
Michael Wile, Board Member
Michael Wile is a freelance advertising rep for a variety of consumer and business magazines and websites. He has been a member of the Board for almost five years and is currently Secretary.
