Ryan Tollofson, President
Ryan Tollofson is a Senior Manager with TELUS Business Products & Services and a founding leader of Spectrum, TELUS’ LGBTQ employee resource group. He is also an accredited professional coach and runs a successful private coaching practise that strives to improve the productivity and overall satisfaction of a wide variety of clients. A Toronto native, Ryan is very active in the community most recently cycling to Montreal in support of the Toronto PWA Foundation. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from York University and an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
Brian Bachand
Brian Bachand is Associate Director on the Faculty of Medicine Advancement Office at the University of Toronto. He has over 10 years of proven leadership experience in fundraising, marketing and building strategic collaborations. Brian was a founding member of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce of New York City. Brian desires to use his skills to further development the Marketing and Sponsorship needs of OGLCC.
Mark Brodsky
Mark is the owner of Mark Brodsky Digital Communications, a Toronto-based company that helps other companies grow their business using email and social media. He's been active in the OGLCC since December of 2008 and is currently the chair of the Communications and Marketing Committee. Prior starting his business in January 2008, Mark's professional journey took him from the School of Journalism at Humber and TV Guide Canada to Lula Lounge and Xtra. He also enjoys traveling.
John Kenyon, Past President
John is the Sales Manager for 103.9 PROUD FM, the world’s first commercially licensed LGBT radio station. With a sales staff of 8 and growing, they have increased sales dramatically during the recent recession. John has also been the president of the OGLCC for 4 years now and has seen and helped implement many changes. He looks forward to two more years on the board and many of the new challenges and opportunities facing the organization.
Larry Leung, Vice President
Larry Leung is a Group Manager of IT Application Audit at TD Bank Group. He has been on the OGLCC board for the past 4 years and is most recently served as the Vice President of the Board. Outside of the Board, Larry is very active in the LGBT community in the mentoring and business development areas.
Ariel Magil
Ariel has served on the board of the OGLCC for 6 years and on the Executive in various capacities over the past 4 years. Professionally, Ariel manages the Queen & Parliament branch of TD Canada Trust. He is a founding member of the TD Bank LGBT working committee.
Chris Matthews
Chris Matthews is a Banking Operations professional & Leader with over 14 years of experience working for and providing consultancy services to financial institutions & Investment management firms. He specializes in strategic & business planning, process improvement and performance analytics. Chris is passionate about diversity and giving back to the community through volunteering and fundraising. Chris currently sits on the Executive Board and serves as Director of Public Outreach & Fundraising for ProudPolitics. He volunteers as the Manager of Strategic Planning & Events for an online magazine called Who’s Who in Black Canada. Previously he sat on the grant allocation committee for Community One and was very active in both CIBC and Scotiabank Pride committees sitting on their national committee team.
Catrena Reid
Catrena Reid is the director of Finance and Administration and a member of the Canadian Leadership Team at Manpower Group. Catrena has completed her MBA, CIA and is a six sigma green belt. Throughout her career, she has worked in 20 countries within the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas, lived in 3 countries as well as worked for 5 fortune 500 companies which gives her a unique perspective on diversity, cultural differences and challenges the LGBT community faces around the world.
David Ross
David Ross is a chartered accountant with experience primarily in telecom and media. He trained in facilitation and currently is primarily involved in change management and business process change. David has five years on the Board of Horizons for Youth, a 35 bed emergency shelter for youth between the ages of 16 and 24. Horizons also managed various outreach and support programs. He was both Treasurer and Chair of the Board for portions of this five year period. Currently, David is getting involved with the Emerging Leaders Network of Civic Action and is a member of Exequtive, a forum for LGBT leaders.
Denis Schryburt, Regional Development Director
A proud career public servant for over 20 years with a three-year stint as a political advisor on Parliament Hill, Denis has a passion for community involvement, volunteering and fundraising. Denis is quite active in and out of the LGBTTQ community. In addition to being Director of Regional Development for the Ontario Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, he also serves as Community Co-Chair of the Ottawa Police GLBT Liaison Committee, Advisory Council Member for both the Prosperity Long-Term Care Fund and the Ottawa Arts Court Foundation, he sits on the organizing committee for Swirl & Twirl and is Vice-Chair of the City of Ottawa's new Community Services Advisory Committee. Denis est fier d’être Franco-Ontarien.
